Goats Milk and Nursing

  • If the mother used drugs before and during the pregnancy the infant would be better off if it were drinking goat milk. MEGAPAKAH SUSU KAMBING SEHARUSNYA MENJADI MINUMAN HARIAN KITA?

Tahukah anda memelihara kambing merupakan sunnah nabi-nabi. Walaupun ada unta, mengapa para nabi ditarbiyahkan dengan mengembala kambing? 

  • Nabi SAW meminum segelas susu panas sebelum tidur.
  • Menternak kambing mengajar rasa tawaduk. Para nabi tidak menternak unta walau[un ia lebih besar dan lebih bernilai berbanding kambing. 
  • Nabi SAW pernah menyebut, "Ternaklah kambing kerana padanya ada barakah atau keberkatan”.
  • Susu kambing boleh meningkatkan IQ dan EQ. 

Susu kambing hampir sama kandungannya dengan susu ibu. Ia boleh menjadi susu alternatif jika ibu tidak dapat menyusui. Susu kambing boleh dijadikan sebagai supplement, tetapi BUKAN menggantikan susu ibu kerana susu ibu adalah merupakan susu paling terbaik untuk sianak. Kadar lemak, protein dan air dalam susu kambing menyamai kadar lemak, protein dan air yang terdapat dalam susu ibu menjadikan susu kambing mudah dicerna dan menghasilkan susu awal ibu (ibu susu). Semua peringkat anak-anak, remaja dan orang dewasa dianjurkan meminum susu kambing.

Minuman susu yang paling digemari oleh Nabi Muhammad SAW. Susu Kambing adalah makanan semulajadi berkhasiat yang diperlukan untuk kesihatan badan seharian. Ianya sesuai untuk semua lapisan umur. 

Susu kambing juga kaya dengan enzim yang diperlukan oleh manusia. Bagi orang dewasa, susu kambing juga baik sebagai pelawas yang dapat mengelakkan penyakit undigestable food (sembelit). Ia mempunyai kalori yang tinggi.

Susu kambing tidak akan rosak walaupun dibekukan. Khasiatnya tidak akan hilang berbanding susu-susu ternakan lain seperti lembu. Susu kambing yang baru diperah tidak berbau hamis atau hanyir dan sangat sedap. Jika berbau hamis, masukkan sedikit halia atau daun palas supaya tidak berbau.

Susu kambing yang sirawat ini menghasilkan tiga jenis amino asid caseins yang telah di rawat ialah Beta – CN f78-83, Beta-CN f84 – 87 dan Beta-CN f181-184.

Setakat ini saintis mendapati bahawa ia dapat menurunkan tekanan darah systolic sebanyak 15mmHg pada pesakit berbanding pesakit yang menggunakan ubat darah tinggi iatu captopril yang dapat menurunkan sehingga tekanan darah systolic sebanyak 25 mmhg
Saintis percaya bahawa bioactive peptides dari bahan beta casein yang di perolehi oleh susu kambing mempunyai sifat angiotensin conveting enzyme inhibitors, seperti mana yang terdapat dalam beberapa ubat darah tinggi - Kajian di terbitkan dalam journal of clinical hypertention (vol.8, pp 775-782)

DAGING KAMBING DAN SUSU KAMBING BAIK UNTUK KESIHATAN – SINAR HARIAN

KUALA LUMPUR - Entah mengapa ramai kalangan kita memilih untuk menolak sajian daging kambing yang sering dipersalahkan sebagai penyebab masalah kolestrol dan darah tinggi yang kemudian membawa kepada penyakit jantung.

Sedangkan pada masa kini, kambing merangkumi 63 peratus daging yang dimakan di seluruh dunia, termasuk menjadi sumber protein utama di banyak negara Arab dan Afrika Utara, selain penting di rantau Asia Tenggara, kepulauan Caribbean dan kawasan tropika yang lain.

Di Barat pula, daging kambing makin mendapat publisiti meluas sebagai sumber protein yang lebih menyihatkan berbanding daging lembu, malah terdapat kajian yang menyatakan ia lebih sesuai untuk dimakan oleh penghidap masalah berkaitan jantung.

Kumpulan penyelidik dari Sistem Kerjasama Pendidikan Lanjutan Alabama (Alabama Cooperative Extension System-ACES) yang terdiri daripada Universiti Alabama dan Universiti Auburn misalnya, turut mengadakan program pendidikan awam yang mempromosi daging kambing sebagai makanan yang lebih sihat.

KOMPOSISI KHASIAT Kajian ACES berkenaan khasiat daging kambing matang berbanding lembu, kambing muda, bebiri, khinzir dan ayam mendapati bahawa daging yang dihasilkan oleh kambing adalah lebih pejal dan mengandungi komposisi khasiat yang lebih baik.

Kesimpulan utama yang mereka dapati ialah kambing mengandungi paras kolestrol dan lemak tepu yang jauh lebih rendah berbanding daging lain, menjadikan ia sebagai pilihan makanan alternatif daging merah terbaik.

Dengan menggunakan potongan daging seberat tiga auns atau 85 gram, didapati kambing hanya mempunyai 2.6 gram kandungan lemak berbanding lembu yang mempunyai 7.9 gram lemak, kambing muda (lamb) (8.1 gram), khinzir (8.2 gram) dan ayam (6.3 gram).

Melihat dari segi kalori pula, kambing mempunyai 122 kalori (kal), berbanding lembu (179 kal), kambing muda (175 kal), khinzir (180 kal) dan ayam (162 kal).

Selain itu, kandungan lemak tidak tepu kambing jauh lebih tinggi berbanding daging jenis lain, ini adalah baik untuk pemakanan manusia memandangkan lemak tak tepu membantu merendahkan risiko penyakit jantung dan strok.

Kebaikan lain yang menjadikan daging kambing sebagai sumber protein ideal ialah ia mengandungi semua jenis asid amino yang diperlukan tubuh serta kandungan zat besi yang tinggi dan mampu membantu penghidap anemia.



BAIK UNTUK JANTUNG Kajian klinikal oleh Universiti Harvard pula, mengesahkan bahawa lemak tepu adalah lemak tidak sihat yang meningkatkan risiko pelbagai penyakit kardiovaskular, sedangkan lemak tidak tepu bagus untuk membantu membaiki paras kolestrol, melegakan keradangan, menstabilkan rentak jantung dan banyak lagi kebaikan yang lain.

Mereka turut mendapati bahawa lemak tepu menyebabkan paras kolestrol tidak baik meningkat dalam darah sedangkan lemak tidak tepu pula membantu mengurangkan keburukan itu dengan menaikkan paras kolestrol baik.

Keburukan utama kolestrol tidak baik dalam darah ialah kemampuannya untuk melekat di dinding salur arteri dan menyebabkan plak yang menjadikan ruang salur darah sempit atau tersekat, yang seterusnya menyebabkan serangan jantung atau strok.

Lantas penemuan itu mengukuhkan lagi keyakinan ACES bahawa daging kambing membantu mengurangkan paras kolestrol dalam darah, mengurangkan risiko atherosklerosis dan penyakit jantung menjadikannya sesuai dimasukkan ke dalam diet jantung sihat.

Sebagai galakan pemakanan daging kambing, ACES turut menggaris dua peraturan asas menyediakan masakan berasaskan kambing.

"Ini termasuk gunakan suhu rendah kerana suhu yang terlalu panas akan menyebabkan daging kambing cepat liat, peraturan kedua pula ialah memasak daging di dalam kelembapan seperti peraman (marinade) basah sebelum dimasak ataupun masakan berkuah seperti kari atau stew," lapor mereka.

SUSU BERKHASIAT Semua kelebihan daging kambing dari segi kesihatan itu turut diakui oleh penyelidik dari Jabatan Pertanian Universiti Babcock, Nigeria. Malah, kumpulan penyelidik itu menekankan kepentingan nilai nutrisi kambing dalam aspek pengurusan kesihatan manusia sebagaimana yang dilaporkan menerusi artikel mereka yang diterbitkan dalam Jurnal Pertanian dan Kajihayat Amerika Utara.

Antara lain, artikel itu menyebut bahawa di Okinawa Jepun misalnya, ibu hamil dan yang baru bersalin digalakkan memakan daging kambing untuk menguatkan fizikal dan mengatasi keletihan.

Ia turut membincangkan kepentingan susu kambing yang mempunyai komposisi yang lebih unik iaitu globular lemak yang lebih kecil dan mudah dihadamkan berbanding susu lembu.

"Sifat itu membolehkan susu kambing digunakan untuk merawat masalah alergi pada susu lembu, menjadikannya susu alternatif terbaik dan sangat penting kepada bayi, orang dewasa dan juga ibu yang menyusukan bayi," tambah laporan itu.

Selain itu, mereka mendapati kandungan zat mineral susu kambing adalah lebih tinggi berbanding mamalia lain menjadikannya amat berguna untuk merawat penyakit anemia yang diakibatkan oleh kekurangan zat besi dan penyakit tulang rapuh selain dilaporkan berguna dalam rawatan kencing manis.

Artikel itu turut menjelaskan kebaikan susu kambing untuk kesihatan kulit, khususnya untuk membantu merawat penderita masalah seperti psoriasis, ek zema atau jerawat.

"Pakar dermatologi biasanya menggalakkan pesakit menggunakan sabun pembersih berpelembab berasaskan susu kambing untuk membantu melegakan kulit kering dan gatal dan seterusnya menyembuhkan penyakit kulit," lapornya.

POTENSI PENTERNAKAN Memandangkan terdapat banyak bukti saintifik berkaitan khasiat dan kebaikan daging serta susu kambing yang semakin diketahui ramai, maka tidak mustahil permintaan bekalan global akan melonjak naik dalam waktu terdekat.

Malaysia dilihat amat berpotensi untuk muncul sebagai pengeluar kambing bagi memenuhi permintaan itu berdasarkan kesesuaian keadaan iklim negara yang panas dan lembab sepanjang tahun.

Penternakan kambing meskipun dimulai secara kecil-kecilan tetap mampu mencapai kejayaan yang tinggi memandangkan kambing matang dengan cepat dan membiak seawal usia lapan bulan.

Lagipun, pemakanan kambing tidak cerewet dan boleh dibiarkan bebas meragut rumput dan tumbuhan renek belukar di kawasan kampung selain najisnya yang lebih kecil dan tidak sebusuk najis lembu.

Walaupun satu ketika dulu, penternakan kambing di Malaysia lebih sinonim dengan kaum India yang memang gemarkan sajian kambing terutamanya masalla, trend itu mula berubah kebelakangan ini.

Kini, semakin ramai pengusaha muda Melayu termasuk lepasan ijazah yang menjadikan kambing sebagai sumber rezeki khususnya bagi memenuhi permintaan untuk majlis akikah dan Hari Raya Aidiladha.

Tambahan pula, kerajaan telah banyak mengadakan pelbagai galakan untuk pengusaha muda membangunkan diri menjadi usahawan kambing yang berjaya sekaligus memajukan industri penternakan kambing untuk membantu menjana ekonomi kawasan luar bandar.

Ini sekaligus menggalakkan percambahan ladang penternakan dari pelbagai baka dan hibrid kambing, menyediakan pelbagai peluang kerja kepada anak muda dan membantu menjana ekonomi luar bandar tanpa banyak risiko.
